Synapse and Reach’s Content Hub Partner to Streamline Journalist-PR Interactions
Synapse News
London, UK, October 16, 2024: Synapse- The Stories Marketplace, a leading provider of PR and media relations technology, announces a strategic partnership with Reach’s Content Hub.
Synapse and Reach’s Content Hub Partner
The collaboration will see the Hub’s 250 journalists gain access to Synapse to reduce time spent managing inboxes, fuel more efficient communication with PR professionals, better manage PR pitches, distribute content requests and build meaningful relationships.
Reach launched the Content Hub in summer 2024 to deliver popular content that attracts a wide audience, for use across Reach’s network of over 100 local and national brands, in addition to the content created by existing brand teams.
Synapse will serve as a cohesive platform for journalists and PRs, streamlining communication and facilitating a more efficient workflow. Key features include:
-
Pitch Management: Journalists can easily review, accept, or decline pitches, keeping traffic out of their inbox and giving valuable feedback to PRs, saving everyone time.
-
Content Request Management: Journalists can send out targeted content requests to PRs, ensuring that they receive relevant and authoritative information on trending topics, increasing user interaction with news content.
-
Enhanced Communication: A robust messaging system enables direct and efficient communication between journalists and PRs, helping build valuable business relationships between brands and the media.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Reach’s Content Hub and onboarding their more than 250 journalists to Synapse. Synapse is committed to helping journalists and PRs to work together more efficiently by reducing irrelevant emails, providing a space for better relationship building and ultimately improving efficiency,” said Charles Russell, Founder and CEO at Synapse.
“Our partnership with Reach’s Content Hub is a testament to their commitment to using innovative technology to streamline workflows and to help produce trusted, quality content.”
“We are delighted to be able to offer Synapse to our Content Hub journalists,” said Jon Livesey, Content Hub Director at Reach.
“Synapse’s platform will help our journalists connect with PRs more effectively and deliver high-quality content to our readers, while also saving time and inbox traffic.”

We’d love to. But we’re not quite there yet.
Synapse believes that journalists have the right to their own data, and that by giving journalists control over their data, PRs will receive more accurate and timely information that isn’t currently available on any other database.
This means that we need to work with journalists to register them on the platform, rather than adding every UK journalist without permission. This is something our team is working on every single day.
